Sometimes people ask me what kind of music I compose. Because every film is different, I can't really say I compose in one style over another - what I try to do is reflect the needs of each project rather than have my music reflect one style. For me, music is all about storytelling and I try to create music that either pushes the story forward or evokes a particular mood that is not apparent from the action or dialogue. When I work on a project, the first thing I ask is "What can music provide that the film does not?"
