Colleagues - these are some handy rules for FYC campaigning:

Share the music, don't ask for votes. Say "I'd love for you to hear this project," rather than "Please vote for us."

Very important - We are not nominated! We are FYC - For Your Consideration. The 5 winners in each category go to nominations.

No vote trading or promises. Don't offer to support someone else's entry in exchange for their vote.

Respect people's preferences. Don't repeatedly message anyone or contact someone who has opted out. Include an opt-out option in promotional emails.

Keep the focus on the music. Avoid mentioning streaming numbers, chart positions, or making comparisons with competing entries.

Don't ask anyone how they voted. If someone volunteers that they supported the project, a simple "Thank you so much!" is perfect.

Feel free to share your personal connection to the project and what it means to you. Genuine enthusiasm is always welcome.
